The month of September, the in-between month. Well, that’s what I call it. Summer has come to an end and the school year has begun. It’s not quite cool enough to bring in the fall, and yet the summer colors of blue, yellow and green seem to be past tense. To decorate my dining table this month I wanted to create a color palette that displayed a nice transition from summer to autumn – while celebrating the month of September. Other than it being my brother’s birthday, I feel every month has a story to celebrate!
I’m usually a table cloth kinda girl, but when shopping in Houston last week I came across this beautiful table runner. It captures all the colors I feel September should hold. As you can see, the color theme works well with the runner and I always enjoy adding fresh flowers and candles to set a nice tone for the evening.
